Organized groups may request use of the Babler Outdoor Education Center (OEC) through our application process. Applications for the following calendar year will be accepted beginning August 1st for groups that serve individuals with disabilities. All other applications will be accepted beginning October 1st. Applications will be considered based on the eligibility/priority of the user group and the order they were received by mail. Groups will be notified after December 1st if their application is accepted.
Groups are encouraged to contact the OEC office to schedule a tour of the facility, discuss program options available and check available dates for use. Applications are available through the OEC office. Groups are responsible for reading and following all policies and procedures prior to and during their stay.
To confirm a reservation: A signed application and a 20% deposit of estimated usage fees will be required to confirm reservations. A written confirmation of dates with deposit request will be sent when an application is accepted.
To cancel a reservation: Please notify Babler OEC immediately. Deposits will be refunded with a 60-day written notice, no deposit refunded with less than 60 days notice. Cancellation within 2 weeks/14 days of reservation will require payment of full usage costs according to estimated numbers given on application.
